As companies have moved towards public cloud-based infrastructure, the rise of DevOps has changed the culture, practices, and tools of how applications are developed. Companies are able to move faster when developing their applications and are deploying on highly scalable and low-cost infrastructure. What comes next? In this session I’ll share what I think looks like the next evolution and the future: serverless application backends, reactive interfaces, GraphQL based APIs, progressive web apps, and even smaller, more nimble development teams.
