Florian works as a Lead Engineer at mobile.de - Germany's biggest vehicle marketplace which is part of the eBay Classifieds Group. He is responsible for transforming a monolithic system into multiple services to improve the user experience and to enable the creation of data-driven products. His focus lies in building JVM-based services in a cloud environment, using functional and reactive programming techniques as well as Domain Driven Design principles. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and Punk Rock.
